True Cost Accounting (TCA) Senior Consultant (m/f/d)

To broaden our impact beyond our established consultancy business, we are building digital tools for assessing and reducing risks and adapting to existing and coming changes.

Soil & More Impacts is a front runner in developing and conducting TCAs for the food and farming sector.

Your tasks

  • You are the project manager for our TCA projects and lead our junior team colleagues
  • You shape the product development of TCA services
  • You are in charge of developing our TCA indicators and monetisation approaches further, focusing on natural capital and also incl. social and human capital
  • You are following the major trends in TCA and connect to other stakeholders
  • You develop ideas for our TCA datasets for indicators, and monetisation factors
  • You are a skilled external representative of SMI and identify cross-selling opportunities

Your profile

  • You have strong theoretical and practical knowledge of environmental impact assessment and quantitative valuation methods
  • You have highly effective project management skills and have already worked in a leading position
  • You are familiar with current initiatives and protocols linked to TCA (TEEB, Natural Capital Protocol, SEEA), other impact assessment frameworks, reporting standards and relevant regulatory developments on European level
  • You are both, analytical & pragmatic/solution-oriented (“getting things done”) in a very structured manner
  • Communication skills, client orientation, initiative and result orientation are among your strengths
  • You can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as a team player with stakeholders in all areas of the company
  • You like to work as a mentor and enjoy guiding junior team members as you already have experience in doing so
  • You can connect the dots in an interdisciplinary context and create new solutions in a relatively young field of work

Your qualifications

  • MSc-level in studies like environmental or agricultural economics, sustainable resource management, environmental analytics, environmental science, sustainability-related studies with strong numerical skills and 4+ years of working experience
  • Profound proficiency in MS Excel (i. a. Power Query/Pivot), experiences in Life Cycle Analysis and GIS software are an asset
  • Fluent German and English are mandatory, any other language is desirable
