Senior Consultant Agriculture (m/f/d)

We want to help growers and retailers in being sustainable: Securing their crop yield, adding to soil quality, and managing and adapting to risks they face. To broaden our impact beyond our established consultancy business, we are using our own digital tools for assessing and reducing risks and adapting to existing and coming changes.

We want you to work with us in bringing this vision to life.

Your tasks

  • Leading and implementing agricultural training and consultancy projects regarding: Soil fertility and natural fertilization; composting; cover crops; and other sustainable agricultural practices.
  • Analysing agricultural impact and economic feasibility of applied measures
  • Integrating your recommendations with client’s company strategy

Your profile

  • Strong practical experience and profound theoretical knowledge in soil management and crop farming, preferably with focus on arable crops of temperate climate zones
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in (preferably international) agricultural advisory services
  • Strong managerial, analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent people & pedagogic skills, with the ability to convey complex issues into simple metaphoric messages
  • Readyness and flexibility to travel locally, as well as internationally and out of “comfort zones”; using IT interfaces if travel restrictions apply

Your qualifications

  • Proven qualification in agriculture, with 5+ years of working experience
  • Affinity and flexibility in using MC office suite and software tools
  • Fluent German and English is mandatory, any other language like e.g. Spanish is desirable
  • Driving license class B is a must
