After working in academia for 5 years Benjamin joined Soil & More Impacts in early 2019. He supports our clients in environmental impact assessment, true cost accounting and data analysis.
Since studying natural science in Potsdam and Lund, Benjamin has worked on tools for water footprint assessments for the food and farming sector. At the University of Aberdeen he investigated changes in agricultural water use in India’s cereal production in relation to changes in agricultural practices, diets and climate. Benjamin is passionate about linking numbers and data science with his knowledge of water, soil and agriculture.
Benjamin’s motivation is to support a transition towards a sustainable food system. He does this by providing consumers, farmers, cooperatives as well as policy makers with the required statistics and evidence to take informed decisions.
