Taking the sustainability flower (a sustainability assessment framework for carbon, energy, water, soil, plants, animals accounting) as a basis, Soil & More assists farmers in improving the overall sustainability performance of their farming systems. Our main emphasis will most likely be energy, water and soil (fertility). Our goal is a higher productivity per unit of land, ensuring a secure income for the farmer; even in case of unstable and severe environmental conditions and resource scarcity.
One of the key elements in sustainable agriculture is soil carbon. Continuous monitoring of a producer’s soil carbon performance allows to identify and quantify a value of carbon and to subsequently link it to the commodity price of the goods produced. In cooperation with its corporate and R&D partners, Soil & More offers a range of tools and services to integrate continuous soil carbon measurements into existing agricultural monitoring and accounting systems.
